Well, this is the first post in three years. I thought it might be nice to toss an update out there. Jim, Steve, Will and myself have been practicing a little bit and we're thinking of maybe playing a show sometime in the near future. Nothing too flashy or long-term. We've all agreed that any show we play will be all-original rather than play a show of mostly cover tunes. If we're going to play, we may as well do it for ourselves and those who supported our original music. On the same topic, Jim and I will be playing the originals in rare acoustic form this Friday (July 11, 2008) at Frosty's Ice Cream at the New Hartford Shopping Center at 6:30pm. It's a rare event, so please come show your support.
If anything new comes up in the next month or so, I'll post it right here so you get it first.
Here's hoping to see as many of you as can make it!
Until next time,
Mike

To our awesome fans:
We want to thank you for everything you've done for us, and for your support over the years. As we get ready to head off to college, we'll be seperating indefinitely. It's been a great six years, and we're glad to have those of you who watched us grow from the beginning, as well as those of you who have helped us along the way (see "thank you" section below, as well as anyone we missed). You can still find your favorite Feedback songs on the website, or can get a copy of "Inside My Mind" from Will if you get in touch with him.
Take care everyone,
Feedback

Hey everyone, just wanted to toss a reminder of an upcoming concert
tomorrow night in East Utica.
St. Agnes Church (on the corners of Kossuth and Blandina streets) is
having their festival, and we'll be playing a big show there on Friday
night.
At 6pm, the show will be opened by the acoustic stylings of Tim Britt,
followed by Feedback at 7pm.
The show will be held on Utica's new bandstand, and audio engineering
will be run by Fairplay Sound.
Here's hoping to see as many of you as can make it!
Until next time,
Mike

Hey everyone, just wanted to give a heads up that there will officially be a new Feedback song added to the concert playlists coming up soon. The new track, titled "Softly Fall the Rains" is the first new song from Feedback in almost a year, so we're looking forward to showing you all. We've finally gotten back into writing, so we should have a few new tunes coming out over the next few months. We also have a few shows in the works, so when we get all those details sorted out, we'll add em to the calendar. For now, we're just going to leave it blank til we've got it figured out. Hope everyone did well on Finals and Regents exams, good luck to the class of '05. Goodnight all!
Until next time,
Mike

Just wanted to give a big thank you to everyone who stuck it out through the rain on Saturday night for the big St. Peters Festival concert. It was an incredible show, and we were thrilled you could be there for it. We'd also like to thank Carolyn Cronauer for playing Keyboards and Viola, Caroline Chancia for playing the flute, and Fairplay Sound for keeping everything sounding its best. It was a great show, and we hope to do it again for you real soon!
Until next time,
Mike

What's that sound I hear? Perhaps is it a Feedback mp3? Yep. After working many, many hours we finally have a working mp3 player for you. In case you missed it, you'll find the mp3 player by hovering your mouse just above this news post. Voila!
The mp3 player plays all the songs from the latest Feedback album in thier entirety. As always if you want a copy of the CD just give any one of the band members $3 or come to any gig where admission is over $3 and you get one FREE just for showing up.
Next Wednesday I will upload some pictures of the March 11th show for all of you who couldn't make it. It really was a great show and Modus played an awesome set. I hope to play with them again sometime. Anyway that's enough from me. Will out.

Hey everyone, a big thanks to all who braved the lake effect snowstorm on the 11th to come see Feedback and Modus take the stage. It meant a lot to see everyone cheering us on! Right now there's roughly eight weeks left in the spring semester, so we're keeping the concerts to a minimum while the workload is still heavy. Will is now a Graphic Design major at Rochester Institute of Technology, I'm majoring in Education with a concentration of English at Geneseo State, Jim is majoring in Education and History and also going for his doctorate, and Steve is studying Business at SUNY IT in Utica/Rome. Don't worry, we'll keep the music coming to you while you're hard at work yourself. Will is currently working on a new jukebox for the website so everyone can listen to Feedback songs online, and we have a few shows coming up for you all. Keep checking the site for tour updates, as well as the Feedback Street Team for announcements. If you don't yet recieve the Street Team Newsletter, you should sign up now. It's free, easy, and always lets you know by e-mail when the next Feedback show will be.
Until the next time we meet again,
Mike |
